Wider Portfolio
This gallery showcases of some of my non bridal portfolio work, most of which has been completed during my time studying for my BA hons Makeup for Media and Performance degree.

My favourite areas of performance makeup include theatrical applications, wig making & styling and editorial & runway work.
Futuristic High Fashion
A project which aimed to to acknowledge the overconsumption which exists today and consider how recycled materials can be repurposed within a hair and makeup design. This included discarded fabric sewn and styled into the wig, as well as recycled milk bottle plastic melted into flower shapes on the face. The work of Alexander McQueen was prominent in my research for his use of reworked materials as high fashion pieces.
This design included my first fully hand knotted and constructed, 3-part, lace front synthetic hair wig. This was fully hand permed with perming rods and cocktail sticks to create a type 4B curl pattern. With sewn in scrap fabric strips and hair lace pieces.
Theatrical Performance
Below shows a range of work from my time fulfilling the role of wigs, hair and makeup designer and supervisor for the AUB's theatre production of "Orpheus & Eurydice." This was a fantastic opportunity to not only see my work displayed to multiple public audiences but also to be part of seeing a piece of theatre develop through the stages from script to stage. The experience allowed me to gain invaluable practice in managing a budget, leading a team and managing communications across departments as part of a large scale collaboration.

Technical skills included wig and postiche styling and cutting, bespoke postiche construction, digital character design, tattoo design and transfers

These characters were brought to life by an amazing team of fellow AUB makeup assistants.. Abi East, Carenza Thomas, Eva Howard, Izzy Heenan, Lily Oliver, Lily Smithson, Nina Allan and Sylvie Alboni.
